Agrale, a leading bus and chassis manufacturer in South America, sought a trusted electrification partner to evolve its product line and meet increasing demand for zero-emission public transportation. With over 16,000 city buses in operation, Agrale faced the challenge of retrofitting existing platforms and launching new electric models suitable for diverse climate conditions and regulatory requirements across the continent.
РОЗВ'ЯЗКА:
Agrale selected Equipmake to develop a scalable electric drivetrain solution. Starting in 2024, Equipmake delivered 5 zero-emission drive units, all of which were successfully deployed and validated. In September 2025, Agrale placed a follow-up order worth £5.45 million for 50 full electric drivetrain systems, including Equipmake’s in-house designed motor, inverter, control system, and battery pack. The integration also included third-party component coordination and non-recurring engineering efforts.
