Description

Equipmake is supplying Australian launch services company Gilmore Space Technologies with electric motors and inverters to support their onboard application

Equipmake developed a bespoke 20,000 rpm onboard application motor and inverter solution. Five systems are required per vehicle, demonstrating Equipmake’s crucial role in advancing spaceflight technology. A total of 21 units were produced and delivered, with the first launch imminent.

The pressurised SiC inverter design allows for compact packaging and low mass critical factors in space launch applications.
